Instructions for 4 Block Wall Hanging:
· Follow the instructions as shown in any Seasons in Patches and Holidays in Patches patterns to make a appliqué block, including adding inner border and outer border. Repeat to make 3 more, for a total of 4. I used the Stocking Pattern...but you can mix and match!
· Sew blocks together as shown, with 2 across and 2 rows.
· Stitch on the Ric Rac around the outer edge with a scant ¼ inch so that when you sew on the outer border you will not see stitching lines.
· For outer borders, cut 4 ~ 4.5” x 44” strips. Trim as needed.
· Sew on outer borders, sewing on the sides first and finishing with the top and bottom borders.
· Layer backing (right side down), batting and quilt (right side up). Baste together and quilt as desired. Trim.
· For binding, cut 2 ½” strips (A total of 4)
